When you arrive at Excel Health for your XBody workout, you will be asked to change into our XBody leggings and shirt. These garments are made of materials that facilitate conductivity. A specialized vest and pantsuit are then worn over top. This suit applies the power of EMS to all major muscle groups simultaneously – chest, back, stomach, legs, arms and glutes. You are then guided through twenty minutes of basic movements such as squats, lunges and bicep curls. This may sound easy, but with the added resistance you can work as hard (or as light) as you want.
During traditional strengthening, the brain sends impulses stimulating certain muscles to contract but not all muscles have a well-developed connection to the brain and get missed. With the XBody suit, even the muscles that would not normally get activated, are hard at work.
Builds Muscles – The electrodes are strategically placed in the suit, directly over each major muscle group, so all impulses reach their target, even muscles fibres that would traditionally get missed. As you move, your muscles work against their own contractions, building muscle and strength.
